Sciatica & trapped nerve pain
Individual nerves exit from each level of the spine and branch off to supply muscle, organs and structures of the body. Nerves are prone to becoming irritated or compressed along their course resulting in symptoms linked with the individual nerve in question and if left untreated, can result in nerve damage.
Sciatica can occur at many stages in life. In the younger population sciatica is usually caused by a bulging disc, whereas in older individuals, sciatica is often caused by a combination of issues such as prolapsed discs and advancing degenerative changes in your spine.
